Virtual Care

When you have a medical need, and you want to connect with someone quickly, a virtual care visit (or telemedicine) visit is likely a good—and convenient—solution. Each Nutanix medical plan gives you access to telemedicine services. Connect with board-certified physicians 24/7, 365 days a year, from the comfort of your own home.

  • UnitedHealthcare provides Optum Virtual Care for 24/7. You can also download the UnitedHealthcare app. Video (with audio) visits can be requested on demand or scheduled.
  • For employees enrolled in the UHC CDHP – HSA, virtual care can be obtained through Crossover. This includes virtual services for primary care, mental health, and more.
  • Kaiser Permanente provides Video Visits. You can also connect to Video Visits through Kaiser’s app.

Primary Care

Crossover

Crossover offers virtual and near-site concierge healthcare. This is available only to employees and family members age 18 and older who are enrolled in the UnitedHealthcare CDHP – HSA. Crossover is a unique and comprehensive private health center care experience that combines advanced health management services and an exceptional member experience.

As a member of Crossover, you get direct access to Crossover’s team of doctors, mental health providers, physical therapists, and care navigators. You get the opportunity to build a relationships with your providers, who work closely with you to achieve your health-related goals.

Virtual healthcare services are available

Crossover provides virtual services from anywhere including:

  • Mental health—for issues related to anxiety, stress, depression, grief, or substance overuse.
  • Primary care—for sick care, minor injuries, and for managing chronic conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure.
  • Physical therapy—to treat pain in the neck, back, and body; rehabilitation plans for surgeries or injuries; plus safe and personalized strength/stretching plans.
  • Care navigation—to book nearby in-person appointments or tests you may need outside of Crossover, or to manage medical records and prescription orders.

By using Crossover’s virtual healthcare services, you get the advantage of seeing the same primary care doctor, mental health therapist, physical therapist, and health or fitness coach each time you need care. Plus, your Crossover care team will proactively reach out to you. They'll see if you're feeling better, answer questions about your care plan, and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle—a level of care that’s not often available with many other telemedicine providers.

What are the advantages of using near-site (in-person) clinics?

When you go to a near-site clinic for in-person services with Crossover, you also have access to:

Near-site clinics include locations across the Bay Area (including one located less than five miles from our San Jose office!), as well as Texas and New York.

MyAdvocate is your personalized support and assistance resource for a range of healthcare questions and issues. Using MyAdvocate’s services is completely confidential.

MyAdvocate’s services include:
  • Comparing and selecting benefit plans and coverage.
