If you've recently gotten a divorce, or your domestic partnership ends, the change can affect benefit coverage for you and/or your former spouse or partner.

Update Your Benefits

Your former spouse or domestic partner is no longer eligible to be covered under your benefits, effective the date of your divorce. To remove them from your Nutanix benefits, go to Workday within 30 days of your date of divorce or dissolution of domestic partnership. Find detailed instructions here.

You can also enroll in health plan coverage, or drop coverage for your dependents within 30 days of your date of divorce or dissolution of domestic partnership.

If you’re currently enrolled in the ARAG Legal Insurance and Identity Theft Protection plan, be sure to contact ARAG to see what support is available for your situation. Examples include legal reviews, assistance with paperwork, and court appearances.

Changing your name?
  • Don’t forget to get a new Social Security card!
  • Get a new driver’s license if your name and/or address are changing.
  • Update these details in Workday.

Update Your Beneficiaries

Now's the time to update your beneficiary information if you’d like to remove your former spouse or domestic partner. This can be done at any time.

Separating from your spouse or domestic partner can be emotionally and financially taxing. Nutanix provides resources to help.

Headspace Care (formerly Ginger) provides mental wellbeing support from therapists through chat. This on-demand access to behavioral health coaches and personalized, interactive content is available anytime to support you. Visit the Headspace Care website to learn more. (Headspace Care is available to anyone 18 years and older who is enrolled in a Nutanix medical plan.)

Update Workday

Visit Workday to make any necessary changes to your:

  • Name and address.
  • Tax withholdings (click here for instructions on updating federal or state/local tax withholdings).
  • Direct deposit.
  • Emergency contacts.

Estate Planning

If you have a will or living trust, contact your provider to make any necessary changes to ensure your family’s information is up to date.
