Moving to/from California or Hawaii | Update Workday & Payroll | Arrange Time Off
If you’re moving to/from California or Hawaii, you may have access to different medical plans. Review the changes needed when you move between these states and take action. Any changes to medical coverage must be made within 30 days of your move date.
From California |
If you’re currently enrolled in the Kaiser Permanente HMO and you move to another state, you'll need to change your medical coverage to a plan available in the state to which you're moving. (The Kaiser HMO is only available in California.) If you’re enrolled in the UnitedHealthcare POS plan or UHC CDHP – HSA and you move to another state, you'll remain enrolled in your plan, but you'll need to submit a Workday task that will appear in your inbox, to convert to the non-California network plan. |
