All regular full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for health benefits on their date of hire. Interns, returnship, apprenticeship and part-time employees working between 20 ‒ 29 hours per week are eligible for the UnitedHealthcare plan on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

If you don’t enroll in Nutanix benefits when you’re first eligible, full-time employees will automatically receive the following benefits:

iconMedical coverage

Coverage in the UnitedHealthcare plan at the employee-only tier. (You will not be enrolled in the dental or vision plans.)

iconBasic Life insurance

Coverage of 3X your annual base earnings — up to $1,000,000.

iconBasic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance

Coverage of 3X your annual base earnings — up to $1,000,000.

iconShort-Term Disability (STD) insurance

Short-Term Disability pays up to 60% of your weekly base salary, to a maximum of $2,310 per week. Benefits can last up to 26 weeks, as long as you are on an approved disability leave. You will automatically be enrolled in the Premium Imputed (benefit is tax-free) option.

iconLong-Term Disability (LTD) insurance

Long-Term Disability pays up to 60% of your monthly base salary, to a maximum of $10,000 per month; until you’re no longer considered disabled or you reach normal retirement age, whichever comes first.
