Employee Referral Program

Nutanix is growing and looking for qualified candidates to fill open positions. Often, the best source of candidates is through employee referrals — you! Existing Nutanix employees have an informed understanding of the type of work we do and the skills and talents we need, and are very likely to be connected to people whose skills and experience would make them a great fit for an open position.

For Global Referrals (excluding countries mentioned below): When an eligible referral is hired and completes 30 days of employment, the referring employee will receive (less applicable taxes):

  • All roles $5,000 USD

For positions located in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Turkey and Vietnam Referrals: When an eligible referral is hired and completes 30 days of employment, the referring employee will receive (less applicable taxes):

Employee Referral Eligibility

All full-time employees are eligible to receive the referral bonus except:

  • Director Level and above
  • Referrals who would directly report to you, or within the team you manage
  • The Talent Acquisition team
  • Employees who take part in the interview panel for their referral
  • Referrals for anyone who is being re-hired

Note: Referrals can be made for Contractors and Interns, but a referral bonus will not be paid out until they are converted to full-time employees. If they are not converted, there will be no bonus payout.

iconTo Submit an Employee Referral

In order to refer someone, you will need their resume, a copy of their LinkedIn profile in .PDF format, their email, and a contact number. The detailed instructions for submitting an Employee Referral are laid out in the “Submitting an Employee Referral” quick reference guide in SharePoint.

Even if the person you refer does not get an interview or get hired, they are considered to be your referral for the next six months, and you will be eligible for the referral bonus if they are interviewed for a different job in the same department. Further, no other employee will be able to refer them to that same department for the next six months.

You have to submit your referral as a referral at the beginning of the process. If they have already submitted themselves to the job via a job board or the Nutanix website, please contact referrals@nutanix.com immediately. If they have already been engaged by a recruiter, we will not be able to list them as your referral, and you will not be eligible for a referral bonus. Please note that each referral may only be submitted to a maximum of three requisitions.
